Colourist Reel

Collecting gold for ‘Best Colourist’ at this year’s Creative Circle Awards for his work on Mail Chimp ‘Jail Blimp’ – part of the multi- award winning campaign by The Sacred Egg - Richard is one of the industry’s most in- demand artists. In 2017, he landed a coveted spot on Televisual’s Top 10 Operators poll, and has collaborated with high profile commercials directors from François Rousselet and Autumn de Wilde to Fredrik Bond and Mert & Marcus. Nominated for Best Colour Grade at the 2015 Music Video Awards for the Ninian Doff directed Chemical Brothers track, 'Sometimes I Feel So Deserted', Richard has applied his artistic flair to a huge selection of promos – recently Liam Gallagher’s debut solo single 'Wall of Glass’, as well as The Rolling Stones, Arcade Fire and Royal Blood.  Other projects in his impressive portfolio of commercials work include BT Sport "Being Dele”, MoneySuperMarket 'Epic Strut', M&S 'Spend it Well', Diesel 'Go with the Flaw', Ikea 'Fly Robot Fly', Confused.com 'Winning Streak', Mazda MX-5 'Reasons to Drive’. Feature films he has graded include Terry Gilliam's The Zero Theorem with DOP Nicola Pecorini, BAFTA nominated 'Shifty', and Ben Holman’s ‘The Good Fight’ - winner of Best Documentary Short at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.
